On May 7, on an ex parte basis, the UK court granted an interim injunction to prevent Senior from importing certain battery separators into the UK, which will be maintained until at least the next substantive hearing against Senior. The UK court also granted Celgard’s request for alternative service of the injunction order on Senior via Senior’s United States (U.S.) entity. Celgard will pursue an injunction through trial and its claim for misuse of Celgard’s trade secrets against Senior.
